Multi Skilled
Kitchen fitting can be a complex process, from finding the right kitchen, choosing the layout and design and preparing the room to plumbing and electrics. The work involved in fitting a new kitchen is multifold and the good news is, I can do all the work so you don’t need to find anyone else. First of all I can even help you choose a kitchen, I work with Magnet, Howdens and other kitchen suppliers and can get you a good deal. Then I remove the old kitchen, either you order a skip or I can take it to the dump for you. If needs be I can replaster the walls and do any necessary repairs. I will paint and prepare the room. Do you need a new floor in your kitchen? Whether it’s tiles, carpet or laminate I will put your new floor in before we start installing the kitchen. Then I start fitting the kitchen. Is your kitchen from Magnet or Ikea and is flatpack? No problem, I can assemble the kitchen for you. I do basic plumbing such as installing dishwashers and sinks. As well as basic electrical work for example putting in lighting or moving switches and sockets.
If you don’t want a whole new kitchen I am happy to advise you on ideas to spruce your kitchen. For example I paint kitchen cupboard doors, a good way to revamp your kitchen and much more cost effective than buying a whole new kitchen. You can choose the colour you like and in general I take the doors off, paint them and they’ll be back with you within the week. Other cost effective ways of updating your kitchen are replacing worktops and doors. Also putting in new worktops, sinks, hobs and tiles give your kitchen and home a whole new look.
